Frenship UIL Camps - Athletics

Strength & Conditioning and Sport Specific Instruction

The Frenship Athletic Department will begin hosting Summer Tiger Camps beginning June 8. These are UIL approved strength and conditioning workouts and sport specific instruction for Frenship athletes entering 7th grade through 12th grade. All incoming 7th graders are required to have a physical to participate. Participation is optional.

Students and parents will see many changes this year as we adhere to new UIL safety guidelines and requirements. This includes limiting the number of students allowed inside facilities, designated entrances and exits to avoid crowding, and smaller group sizes to limit contact between athletes. Throughout the workouts, equipment will be sanitized and we will continue to follow CDC guidelines for cleaning procedures.
Athlete Self-Screening:
Athletes are encouraged to self-screen prior to attending all workouts. If they answer affirmative to any of the health screening questions, they should not attend.
      • Have you had a fever recently?
      • Have you had a persistent cough recently?
      • Have you been around anyone with COVID-19?
Athlete Expectations:
  • Participants will be encouraged to maintain social distancing.
  • Participants may wear a face covering.
  • Participants will be spaced six feet apart in the turf room and weight rooms.
  • Participants must come dressed in their own shirt, shorts, flats, and proper workout shoes (the district will not provide any clothing or shoes).
  • Participants must follow all guidelines and procedures set out for Tiger Camp and the UIL Strength and Conditioning Camp. An orientation on safety procedures will be held at the beginning of the camp.
  • Players need to bring their own water.
    • Water refill station will be available at different intervals throughout the workout provided by coaches.
Visitors and/or parents will not be allowed to enter an indoor facility. They are welcome to remain in their vehicle or stand near an outdoor area to watch, but visitors must maintain social distancing with all staff and participants not living in their home.
Each sport will have different dates and times for their UIL strength and conditioning and sport specific summer camps. Below you will find forms with registration information on each camp. We will continue to update the section below with more UIL sports camps as the information becomes available.
