August 11-13: FM 179 will be completely shut down from 19th Street to just south of 9th Street. Families can get to Willow Bend by taking Kelsey Avenue from 19th Street or 8th Street from 179.
August 17-18: FM 179 will be completely shut down from 9th Street to 4th Street. This will impact Meet the Teacher. Families will have to travel to 19th Street to enter FM 179 to get to our campus.

DONALD PRESTON DRIVE FROM MARSHA SHARP TO CAMBRIDGE AVENUE
Project: Rebuilding road and adding right turn lane for United Supermarkets being built.
Timeline: May impact ease of travel during Registration, Meet the Teacher, and professional development at Bennett Elementary. The City of Wolfforth says they hope to be done with this project by the first day of school (August 19).
Impact: All Wolfforth Campuses (FHS, FMS, Bennett Elementary) and Alcove Trails Middle School.

Project: Widening to 5 lanes and adding a 4-way stop to 50th and Pontiac.

Project: Rebuilding intersection at Alcove and Marsha Sharp access road and will be completely shut down. Construction will continue down Alcove to 66th Street with only one lane open.
