Frenship ISD has an exciting new opportunity for students who are interested in pursuing a career as a firefighter! For the first time, Frenship students who will be seniors in 2025-2026 can participate in the Fire Academy Dual Credit Program offered through South Plains College and Lubbock Fire Rescue.

Congratulations to the first Frenship High School group of students to participate in the Fire Academy Dual Credit Program! These students earned their place in the program by completing a civil service exam and passing a physical agility test. We can't wait to see them thrive in this new opportunity! 

The deadline to fill out the interest form for the 2025-2026 school year has passed. Please check back later this school year for information on joining the Fire Academy Dual Credit Program for the 2026-2027 school year.
