UIL is allowing fans to attend school sporting events as long certain requirements are met. We are asking our Frenship fans to help us follow the guidelines below so our students can continue to play and participate in these athletic events.
Face Coverings: Face coverings are strongly encouraged when social distancing is not an option.
Self-Screening: All spectators must self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms before entering any Frenship facility. Spectators should not attend the events if symptoms are present.
Social Distancing: Frenship is asking all groups to maintain at least six feet of distance from other groups at all times. A group is defined as no more than ten (10) people including the members of the household and those persons who traveled together to the facility.
Hygiene: Spectators should use proper hand washing methods and hand sanitizer as feasible. Hand sanitizer stations will be available at the events.
Frenship ISD will follow all enhanced cleaning and safety measures during the events.
Beginning April 12, 2021, Frenship ISD outdoor facilities can operate at 100% for UIL, extracurricular activities, and school sponsored events. Indoor facilities will remain at 50% capacity. Frenship has blocked off sections of seating at each sporting venue. Spectators will not be allowed to sit in the blocked off sections in the indoor facilities.
Entrance into Facilities and Ticketing
Each sport will have ticketing procedures specific to their events. Please visit our Ticket Information page for more details.
Due to health and safety reasons, families and friends are not allowed on the gym courts, tracks, or fields before or after the athletic events. To prevent crowding, parents are asked to meet their student participant outside the athletic facility when the events are over.
Concessions and Food Service
UIL is allowing the operation of concession stands. Frenship will follow all safety and health guidelines outlined by UIL when operating the concession stands including enhanced cleaning.
