Frenship Softball Demonstrates Tenacity in Close Match against Midland High

In a tense showdown, the Tigers narrowly missed victory, falling short by a single run in the 7th inning, ending with a score of 4-3 to the Bulldogs. Assistant Coach, Anna Williams describes how the Tigers persevered despite the loss.

“Ava Garcia went three for three at the plate. Lexi Clark had 6 strikeouts and Alex Rangel had three putouts with no errors. Despite the loss, the Tigers put up a fight until they fell in the bottom of the seventh,” said Coach Williams.

Although the Tigers lost, they are still leading the District 2 6-A scoreboard. Their District record is now 6-1 and overall record is 20-8. Next, the Tigers will take on Odessa Permian on Friday, April 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Frenship Tiger Softball Fields.
