“Overall, our coaching staff is proud of the competitive spirit displayed by all our players,” said Assistant Tennis Coach, Shelby May. “We faced tough competition across the board, played strongly against some district opponents, and gained valuable experience against teams we may encounter in regional tournament play.”

Coach May shares that both tournaments strengthened the team’s abilities as they prepare for the District tournament later this month.

“It's always beneficial to engage in high-quality match-play, particularly with a highly competitive district tournament looming just two weeks away,” said Coach May.

Up next, the Tiger Tennis Team will be competing in the Lubbock-Cooper Blackbeard Invitational on April 12-13.

Great work, Tigers! Good luck at the Invitational!
