Andrew Cox was appointed to the board in June of 2020.
 
Andrew, a Lubbock native and Coronado High School graduate, received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from McMurry University. He currently serves as the Chief Accounting Officer for Madera Companies.
 

Andrew and his wife Susan, also a Coronado High School graduate, have been married for nearly 25 years. They have three children, Drew, who graduated from Frenship High School in 2025 and now attends West Texas A&M in Canyon,  Brooklyn, who attends Frenship High School and Morgan, who attends Terra Vista Middle School. 

Highly invested in the future of Frenship, Andrew served on the Frenship ISD Long Range Planning Committee to help address Frenship’s future growth and facility needs for the District. 

Andrew loves coaching youth sports, going to his kids’ activities (every night of the week), and spending time on his tractor. His family is also very involved at their Indiana Avenue Baptist Church where Andrew is a Deacon and teaches youth Sunday School and serves on the Personnel Committee and his wife sings on the Praise Team and teaches youth Sunday School. Andrew also serves on the West Texas Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board.
