Twenty-seven Frenship High School students traveled to Garland for the Texas State Junior Classical League Convention April 13-14, and of those 27 students, 16 qualified to compete at the National Junior Classical League Convention at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio at the end of July.
Congratulations to Frenship High School students Joshua Kennon and Riki Sampson who both qualified for the Academic UIL state contest after tremendous performances at the regional meet last week in Arlington.
Young inventors at Crestview Elementary School have spent their enrichment period in the Innovation Lab learning about everything from product production to robotics. The Innovation Lab is in its first year, but the positive feedback from students, teachers, and parents has been continuous.

FRENSHIP ISD PROPOSED TAX RATE WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEARS TAX RATE
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.92 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $19.18.
