Frenship Robotics Teams Showcase Growth and Grit at State Competition

Over the weekend, Frenship ISD robotics teams from Memorial High School and Frenship High School competed in the State FIRST Robotics Competition, highlighting student dedication, teamwork, and a strong commitment to STEM learning and community outreach.

Frenship Robotics Teams Rocket to GEAR Championships

Students across Frenship ISD elementary and middle schools are leading the way in robotics excellence, with 12 teams earning a spot in the 2026 GEAR Lubbock Championships on April 25. After months of designing, building, and programming their robots, Frenship students will compete against some of the top teams in the region.

More than 30 Frenship art students from Willow Bend Elementary and Memorial High School competed in the Young Artist Competition at the Lubbock Arts Festival this past weekend, showcasing their creativity across a variety of mediums and bringing home several ribbons.
