Heritage Middle School Student Takes His Passion for Dogs to the National Stage

Sawyer Johnson, an eighth-grade student at Heritage Middle School, has turned his lifelong love of dogs into a passion for training and competing with some of the best dog-and-handler teams in the country. As he prepares for a national competition in December, Sawyer continues to balance his dedication to his dogs with school, athletics, and other activities.

Grandparents Make Special Memories at Frenship Elementary Schools

Frenship elementary schools celebrated National Grandparents Day by inviting grandparents and other special family members to campus to spend time with their students. From bingo at Legacy Elementary to the longstanding Grandparent Tea tradition at Crestview Elementary, the celebrations gave students and their grandparents an opportunity to make memories together and strengthen connections within their school communities.

FRENSHIP ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEARS TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 1.626% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $18.50.
