Frenship ISD is excited to announce that Cathy Barnhill has been selected as the new principal of Frenship’s 10th elementary school, scheduled to open in August 2028. Barnhill brings a wealth of experience to the role as she enters her 24th year in education.
Frenship ISD is pleased to announce that Ruben Lopez has been selected as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach at Frenship High School. Lopez will officially assume this role pending school board approval next week.

FRENSHIP ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEARS TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY -4.227% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $10.15
