Ten FHS Students Advance to State FCCLA Competition

Frenship High School students competed in the regional Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) competition held in Lubbock, Texas at the MCM Elegante Hotel on February 20-22. Ten students advanced to the state competition and one student earned Regional Vice President of Service Learning title for Region 1. Here are the specific awards and honors:

 

Savannah Vasquez: 4th place in Mystery Basket

Leslie Flores: 4th place in Interpersonal Communications

Sydney Todd & Anysa Johnson: 4th place in Interior Design

Eden Saldana: 3rd place in Cupcake Presentation

Chloe Lewis & Haley Luna: 3rd place in Toys that Teach

Lauren Medrano: 3rd place in Early Childhood Education

Jillian Harris: 2nd place in Teach and Train

Hannah Geilhausen: 1st place in Sustainability Challenge

 

Alaina Golightly: VP of Service Learning Officer for Region I FCCLA

 

These students will compete in Dallas April 2-4 at the state FCCLA competition! Congratulations and best of luck in Dallas!
