What is Stay ALERT?
Stay ALERT is a bilingual, confidential website, e-mail, phone and texting avenue for students, teachers, staff, parents and community members to be able to confidentially report unsafe behaviors, suspicious activities, bullying, acts of violence, harassment, and a host of other potential disruptors to school safety. Users may report concerns 24-7-365 via this website, an e-mail, a phone call to a recorded and monitored line or via a text message from a cell phone. Photos and video clips pertaining to the Stay ALERT report may be included.
After a report is received, it is transcribed and communicated verbatim to a pre-designated, ranking official at Frenship ISD for follow-up.
What to Report?
- Drug use/possession
- Alcohol use/possession
- Teacher or Student conflict
- Other Safety concerns
You are never required to reveal your identity. The idea is to facilitate information sharing between the community, school administrators and local authorities to ensure the safety of our children and faculty. Anyone in the community is encouraged to call, text, e-mail or report online when a student's safety is in question.
What Stay ALERT is not:
Stay ALERT is not a substitute for reporting an emergency. Any emergency should still be reported directly to FISD Police, local police, EMS or fire officials for immediate action and response. IF YOU OR ANYONE IS IN DANGER, CALL 911!
To make a report, click on the link at the top of this page. Then on the Stay ALERT main page click on the blue SUBMIT A REPORT box on the right-hand side of the page. Complete the form and hit submit.
