Free Virtual College Fair Available for Sophomores and Juniors

This weekend starting on February 6 students can attend the four hour virtual event of their choice. Students are encouraged to complete the following steps in order to attend:

1) Save Schools You are Interested In
Visit Big Future Days  before the event to save a list of the schools you are most interested in. If you’re unsure about a college, check out their website, social media properties, or check out their profile page on Big Future.

2) Gather Questions
Make a list of questions. You’ll have a chance to connect with college admissions representatives and current college students. What are things you want to ask them that can’t be found on their website?

3) REGISTER
Click here to register for the event or events that you want to attend. Online registration is required for students to receive access to the BigFuture Day events. If you would like to attend multiple events, you must register in advance for each event.

4) Invite Your Parent or Guardian
As part of your event registration, you can invite your parent or guardian to attend by adding their email information. They will receive a separate invitation to attend.

Attendees can expect to explore colleges in a way that is not overwhelming and to show interest. Take action on key college planning steps like searching for colleges and exploring careers and majors. Listen, learn, and participate in live Q&A and online chat with admissions representatives and current students who have been through it all. Download college planning resources, and drop in with questions for a college adviser.

Big Future Days are designed to give students a tailored experience so that they can establish connections with colleges and take action on important college planning tasks, like building a college list and identifying scholarships to apply for. Some of the participating TX HE institutions will be available to meet with students at this exciting event along with many other universities and colleges across the country.

Because the events are hosted by region, students are encouraged to sign up for multiple events in order to chat with a wide variety of schools. Texas Schools will be this Saturday, February 6th from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m.
