First, second and third place individuals in each event and the first place team in team events advance to the Regional Competition on April 16 and 17. Individuals that place fourth, fifth and sixth, and second place teams are alternates.

Frenship High School UIL Academic Coordinator Sue Vernon said that during a normal year the Regional competition is hosted at UT Arlington.

“Since the university is still virtual, most districts in our region will get together as district ‘pods’ to compete at the same time on the same day, then we will submit tests and results to UT Arlington who will make final determinations on who advances to the State competition at UT Austin.”

Congratulations to each student who competed and good luck to those advancing to the Regional competition.
