Frenship Softball Prepares for Final District Game, Senior Night

Frenship Softball Head Coach Robby Dickenson said that overall they had a good game but that it wasn't enough.

"Sydney Bowlin and Makayla Garcia had two hits, and Maya Mongelli hit one home run," Dickenson said. "As a team we had nine hits so it was a good offensive day, but not quite enough."

Dickenson said that his team is looking forward to senior night on Friday and are looking for the win against Midland.

"While we have cinched a playoff berth, we will take third in the District if Abilene loses Friday," Dickenson said. "If they win then we will be tied for third with them. On Friday, and as we progress into the playoffs, we will go back to the basics, especially defensively, and try to clean up some areas of concern."

The Tigers will meet either El Paso Americas or El Paso Montwood next week for the Bi-District playoff game.
