On February 4, the middle school basketball season wrapped up with the Lubbock County Middle School City Championship Tournament.
The Heritage Middle School 8th grade girls A team finished their season undefeated, going 13-0 and ended the season as City Champions.
The Frenship Middle School 8th grade boys A team also was also crowned City Champs in their division for the second year in a row. Other Frenship ISD teams also had great showings in the tournament:
In the 7th A Girls division, Heritage Middle School came in second place.
In the 7th A Boys division, Heritage Middle School finished in second place and Frenship Middle School came in third place.
In addition to Frenship Middle School's first-place finish in the 8th Grade A boys division, the Heritage Middle School team came in 2nd place, and the Terra Vista Middle School team came in fourth.
