FHS Boys Powerlifting Take home Gold at Levelland Meet

Frenship Boys clinched the overall top spot out of 14 teams at the meet with more than a handful of team members earning 1st or 2nd in their weight class. The Frenship Girls went on to place 11th out 15 teams.

“These ladies are very young. Every meet they are improving their strength numbers and understanding the sport more than the last competition,” said Dusty Robinson, Frenship High School Powerlifting Coach. “I’m very proud of both our teams as they continue to get better every meet. Our competition intensity continues to improve as we prepare to make a run towards regionals.”

The teams will compete next in Plainview for a chance to qualify for regionals. The Girls will compete on Thursday, February 16 and the Boys will compete on Thursday, February 23.
