Frenship Girls Soccer Win District Title, Boys Battle for Spot in Playoffs

On March 3, the Frenship Tigers took on the Permian Panthers at home. The Girls continued their winning streak with another 2-0 win against the Panthers. This win secured their spot as the District Champions. Zeta McDannels and Jaycee Garza both had goals and Mia Chambliss and Baye Biddix came in with the assists.

The Boys had a tough loss 1-0 loss against the Panthers.

Odessa High vs Frenship

The Tigers celebrated their last home game of the season with Senior Night against the Odessa High Bronchos on March 7.

The Girls secured yet another shutout 5-0 win against the Bronchos for their 9th consecutive win in district play. Zeta McDannels and Baye Biddix both had two goals each with Laney Lambert bringing in the fifth. McKenna Prichard, Amaya Mendoza, and Aras King had assists while Jaycee Garza had two.

As the Boys continue to struggle with control and momentum, they conceded late in a 2-0 loss to Odessa High. The Boys will get another shot in their last district game against San Angelo Central on March 10. If they secure a win, the Boys will continue into the playoffs.
