Frenship ISD Welcomes New Oak Ridge Assistant Principal

Ogletree has been in education for the last 10 years. He has served as an interventionist, science teacher, and math teacher. For the past two years Ogletree taught math at Heritage Middle School.

From Coaching UIL Number Sense, to being awarded as Frenship ISD's nominee as a Lubbock County Distinguished Educator, then later receiving the Lubbock Christian University Excellence in Teaching award, to participating in the Frenship Aspiring Administrators Leadership Academy, Ogletree is a name to be highly praised.

Having started his educational career at an elementary school, Ogletree is happy to be back and is most looking forward to creating connections with students and empowering staff.

“I am eager to work with the amazing educators, families, and students at Oak Ridge this year! I am excited to help create a place where our students feel welcomed, and our teachers feel empowered to do what they do best: inspiring kids,” said Ogletree.

Several of his past Heritage Middle School students attended Oak Ridge, making the transition an exciting process.

“The Oak Ridge reputation speaks for itself and the Oak Ridge students I taught at Heritage raved about the Oak Ridge teachers," said Ogletree. “I am so glad to be a part of the Frenship Family!  Everyone in Frenship has treated me with such kindness, and I am so grateful to work with the best people in the business," said Ogletree.

Congratulations Trey Ogletree, we are happy you are on the Oak Ridge team!
