Boys Soccer Takes Down Midland Legacy

The Tigers celebrated a 5-1 victory over the Midland Legacy Rebels last weekend. Goals scored by: Cooper Scott (2), Arath Villarreal, Samuel Miller, and Braden Anderson. Assists by: Arath Villarreal, Cooper Scott, and Peter De La Torre.

Scott Smith, Head Boys Soccer Coach, feels grateful for the opportunity to coach the Tigers this season and is proud of their character on and off the field.

“Well, they certainly brought some heat. Again, and I’ll continue to always say this regardless of how district season goes, the young men that make up this year's roster are just a pleasure to work with - passionate but humble, energetic, and coachable, I’m so happy to get to observe them performing on the field in the manner in which they do. FHS should be immensely proud to have these kinds of human beings represent the Tiger community, regardless of W-L-T,” said Coach Smith.

The Tigers fell just one point short to the Midland High Bulldogs, 4-3 on Tuesday evening. Goals scored by: Cooper Scott, Kellen Martin, and Camryn Cisneros. Assists by: Kelly Martin, and Jeremiah Adams.

Up next the Boys Soccer team will face Odessa Permian on Friday, February 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Ratliff Stadium.
