Tiger Tennis Has Successful Performance at Blackbeard Invite

This past week the Tigers competed in the Blackbeard Invitational hosted at Lubbock Cooper. Assistant Coach Shelby May shares that she is happy with how the team played even throughout unfavorable Lubbock weather. She is looking forward to watching the team continue to improve before upcoming tournaments.

“Our coaching staff is really proud of how the kids handled a lot of matches in two days, with hot and very windy conditions,” said Coach May. “Our team is playing some very good tennis right before district which is what we want going into such a competitive tournament with regional tournament opportunities.”
