Amanda Dillard joins the North Ridge team with 15 years of experience in middle school education and a passion for lifelong learning and leadership. This year marks her 16th year in education and her first in the elementary setting, a new adventure she’s thrilled to begin.
“I was born and raised right here in Lubbock. I graduated from Coronado High School and went to LCU where I received my bachelor’s in middle school interdisciplinary studies, and my master’s in special education,” said Dillard. “My husband is also a full-time firefighter with the Wolfforth Fire Department, and we absolutely love being a part of the community.”
Dillard says she’s excited for the opportunity to grow professionally in a new environment and was drawn to Frenship’s reputation for excellence and support.
“I love learning and growing, and I think Frenship is the best place to help push me out of my comfort zone and help grow me as an educator and leader,” said Dillard.
As the new school year begins, Dillard is looking forward to a special family milestone and diving into the North Ridge culture.
“I am so excited to have both of my daughters in the same building as me. My girls are growing up so fast, and I am excited to get to spend at least one year with both of them,” said Dillard. “I am also super excited about learning from Whitney and can't wait to learn the Frenship way.”
Outside of school, Dillard enjoys traveling with her family, collecting Funko Pops, and cheering on her daughters at basketball games.
