With 27 years of experience in education and a strong connection to the Frenship community, Amy Carroll brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and heart to her new role.
“I am so excited to be a Frenship Tiger!” Carroll said. “My children went through Frenship schools and graduated from Frenship High School. Their education has led them to great success in their careers, and that success inspired me to want to be part of Frenship.”
A long-time resident of the Frenship community, her passion for education runs deep; she comes from a family of educators, including her father, who worked in education for 50 years and served as a high school principal.
Throughout her career, Carroll has held a variety of roles across all grade levels, including elementary, middle school, and high school administration. She also served as a college advisor, helping students navigate their postsecondary plans, applications, and financial aid. With 10 years of administrative experience, she is excited to lead the very school her children once attended.
As she looks forward to the new school year, Carroll is most excited about the opportunity to serve in the community she calls home.
“I am most excited to be a Frenship tiger this school year to get the opportunity to work in the community that I live in,” said Carroll. “I love the family feeling and closeness of the Frenship school system.”
Outside of school, Carroll is known as “Mimi” to her almost one-year-old grandchild, who she says is her world. She’s also eagerly counting down the days until October, when her oldest son will get married and she will officially welcome a daughter-in-law to the family.
“I love living in the Frenship community, and now I’m so excited to be working for Frenship schools,” she said. “I’m a people person at heart, and I can’t wait to support our students, teachers, and families. Go Tigers!”
We are excited to have you at Frenship, Amy Carroll!
