Frenship High School Seniors Prepare for Life After High School

Thanks to a concentrated effort by CTE Coordinator Amy Baker, FHS Staff and local volunteers, seniors at Frenship High School are one step closer to independence.

Seniors participated in FHS’s second annual College and Career Readiness Seminar. The College and Career Readiness Seminar is a piece of FISD’s ongoing effort to produce empowered, equipped and diverse leaders in the community.

Wednesday’s College and Career Readiness Seminar boasted twenty nine breakout sessions that covered interview skills, college and job application tips, understanding credit and budgeting, technology tools, presentations from schools, millitary recruiters,  businesses and more.

“My favorite part of this event was watching the students who were nervous really come out of their shells during the mock interviews,” said CTE Coordinator Amy Baker. “Whether students pursue college, career or the military,  we want Frenship students to be prepared for the future.”
