Frenship ISD is happy to announce that Kimber Rodgers will serve as the head athletic trainer for Frenship Memorial High School.

On April 10, Frenship ISD recognized several head and lead staff members for Fine Arts, Ag, and Athletics who are joining the Frenship Memorial High School Panther family.

Frenship ISD is excited to announce the hiring of two head positions at Frenship Memorial High School pending school board approval on January 22. Jason Richards has been selected as the head football coach and boys athletic coordinator while Michelle Lessing will take on the role as head band director for Frenship Memorial High School.

Frenship ISD is excited to announce Kent Allison will serve as the new Boys Track Coach at Frenship High School.

To wrap up the 2023-2024 school year, the Frenship Athletic Department celebrated the largest athletic signing class. The signing included Frenship’s first powerlifting signee and Frenship’s first dual-athlete signee.

Frenship High School’s Lonnie Kuss and Wesley Havens have had the special opportunity of helping coach discus record holders 42 years apart. Up until this season, Coach Kuss had his hand in the 1982 women’s discus school record. His stepson Coach Havens had an athlete this season break that record.

The Frenship Track Team left it all out on the track at the 6A Region 1 Championship earlier this week. The Tigers finished strong with several athletes placing in the top 10.

The Frenship Girls Track Team came in first place at the 6A Area Meet last week in El Paso. Several members on the Boys Track Team did well, advancing them on to the Regional Competition as well.

The Frenship High School Track and Field Teams have been sprinting to success this season. All four teams were named team champions at the Lubbock ISD Invitational. The Varsity Girls, JV Girls, and JV Boys were named Champions at the District Meet.

The Frenship Track and Field Teams faced fierce competition at the San Angelo Relays last week. The Frenship Varsity Girls team managed to come out on top, despite the tough competition and brought home the gold for Division III.
