The Frenship High School CTE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program students created the Tiger Meadows Senior Living and Nursing Rehabilitation Center in their hallway and classroom.

Each year around this time, students typically learn about Christmas and holiday traditions. This year second grade students at North Ridge and ESL students at Westwind are learning about how the rest of the world celebrates during the holiday season.

For the last five years, the students at Upland Heights have participated in the Polar Express Reading Challenge during the winter months. The program challenges students to “cuddle up with a good book” during the holiday season.

Last year, the TVMS Band broke a school record when 27 students made the Middle School All-Region Band. Last month, they set the bar even higher when 31 students placed in this year’s competition.

The Frenship Boys Soccer team played the Borger Bulldogs in their first scrimmage of the season. The team locked in the win with a final score of 12-0.

Last school year, students in Maria Ruvalcaba’s Kindergarten class at Oak Ridge learned about writing letters and sending them to places far away. Now, those students are seeing the impact of their overseas communication.

This week the hard work in the classroom and on the course paid off when 37 cross country athletes were awarded 2020 Cross Country Academic All-District 2-6A.

Tiger Girls (8-3) and Tiger Boys (4-3) basketball teams both faced several opponents this past week. Each team came out with two wins and one loss each.

The Frenship Girls Soccer team will be back in action next week when they compete in the first scrimmage of the season.
