Construction on the Frenship High School Ninth Grade Center is in full swing. These additions are to re-purpose the campus into the new home of Frenship Middle School starting the 2025-2026 school year.

Last Friday, two Frenship elementary schools invited grandparents to celebrate National Grandparents Day with their students. The day was filled with laughter and excitement as students and grandparents played bingo and enjoyed tea together, creating memorable moments and building a strong sense of community within the school.

This week, a representative from South Plains College visited Reese Education Center to introduce students to their cosmetology program, offering insights into career opportunities and program details.

This month’s theme for Mental Health Minute is Hope. As a component of the 2021 Strategic Plan Initiative, the goal of the Mental Health Minute is to spread awareness of mental health across the Frenship District.

Farley Reeves, Chief Financial Officer at Frenship was recently welcomed to the Property Casualty Alliance of TX Board of Trustees. Reeves is looking forward to serving on the Board and representing Frenship ISD.

The Frenship Boys Golf Team kicked off their season this past weekend at the Lubbock ISD Invitational at the Lakeridge Country Club and Shadow Hills Golf Course.

The Frenship Tiger Cross Country Team dominated the Lubbock ISD Invitational this past weekend at Mae Simmons. Both the Boys and Girls Varsity Teams finished in 3rd place.

This week our FFA students got together to participate in the AG Olympics during their monthly meeting. The students had a blast playing different games and learning more about their other FFA chapter members.

Through community support and district collaboration, Frenship ISD continually ensures that no student goes without food over the weekend through the Tiger Bites program.

This past weekend, the Frenship Tigers were named Team Champions for Division 1 at the Crane XC Invitational. All of the Frenship teams took down the competition bringing home several impressive medals.
