The Frenship High School Softball Team had a successful round of games against El Paso Eastlake last week, making them the Bi-District Champions. Starting today the Tigers will be competing in the Area Playoff Round against Keller Timber Creek.

Nine Frenship High School art students are venturing into the business side of art as they send several original ceramic artworks to be sold at the First Friday Art Trail.

Earlier this week, Frenship High School senior Hunter Welch competed at the Boys State Golf Tournament in Georgetown. Head Boys Golf Coach Andrew Correll is proud of Welch’s performance and hard work in the program.

After taking down the San Angelo Central Bobcats last week, the Tigers are advancing to the Bi-District Playoff round. Head Coach Chad Reynolds is looking forward to the matchup against El Paso Montwood.

In the Westwind Elementary Library photos of the ‘library pet’, Dana the Jersey cow, can be found scattered throughout the room informing the students about her rapid growth.

In August, the Oak Ridge Elementary music department received a Frenship Foundation Teacher Grant to enhance their popular Bucket Busterz ensemble. Through the use of bucket drums, the students are tapping into their love of music and finding new friendships.

Last night, Frenship High School senior Jesenia Rosillo was recognized for earning the Seal of Biliteracy. Rosillo has studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation.

Last week, eight Frenship High School students traveled to Prosper to compete in the Regional Academic UIL Competition.

This week, Legacy Elementary presented the Make-A-Wish Foundation with a check for more than $1,800. In addition to making wishes come true, the Legacy students are learning a valuable lesson of what it means to serve their community and others in need through the Frenship Way SERVE Model.

This past week the Frenship Unified Track Team competed at the State Unified Meet in Austin. While there, the Tigers competed against the top 15 teams across the State and proudly brought home the bronze medal.
