In the Region I-6A golf tournament, Frenship golfer Logan Vargas placed third individually to advance to the State contest. Lainey Cristan tied for 26th place, seventh among non-team golfers.

Last week the Tigers swept Odessa High and are now looking to finish off Odessa Permian as they fight to take first place in District standings.

Last Friday evening Frenship Softball played their last District-level home game against Midland High School on Senior Night.

Frenship Softball will take on Midland High on Friday for their final District game of the season. The Tigers are looking for a win after losing on the road to Odessa High on Tuesday, 6-9.

Frenship opened their series against Odessa High on Tuesday, keeping their winning streak alive after a 4-1 victory.

Frenship High School Junior Allie Bennett placed third at the Regional Wrestling Competition on April 17, earning her ticket to the State Wrestling Tournament this weekend in Cypress.

Last week, Frenship hosted the District 2-6A Tennis Tournament. Frenship Boys Doubles Lucas Adams and Coleman Lewis took third place and Frenship Boys Singles Caleb Lambert took third place.

The FHS Girls and Boys Track teams competed at the Area Track Meet in Odessa last Friday. The Girls team took home second place overall and will advance to the Regional Track meet this weekend at UT Arlington.

The Tigers pulled out three wins last weekend and early this week against Odessa Permian, Midland Lee, and Abilene High School.

Frenship Bowler Kaylee McCleery competed at the State Bowling Competition last weekend. This was Frenship Bowling's inaugural season, and McCleery left her mark on school history by being the first Frenship bowler to compete at the State level.
