IMPORTANT DATES
First Day of School - Wednesday, August 17

Registration Dates: All registration events will be from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., and open during lunch. (More information about the online verification and registration process can be found below)
  • Elementary: August 1 - 2
  • Middle School: August 2 - 3
  • Ninth Grade Center & Reese Education Center: August 4 - 5
  • Frenship High School: August 1 (incoming 12th graders), August 2 (incoming 11th graders), August 3 (incoming 10th graders), August 9-10 (new students to FHS)

Frenship ISD campuses will be hosting Open Houses and Meet the Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. We look forward to welcoming you and your family!
 
  • All Elementary Campuses: August 15 | 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Middle School Campuses (6th Grade ONLY): August 10 | 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Middle School (7th & 8th Grade ONLY): August 31 | 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Ninth Grade Center: August 11 | 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Frenship High School: September 6 | 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Reese Education Center: September 6 | 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
 
*IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2022-2023 SCHOOL MEALS*
On June 30, 2022, the USDA federal waivers that made it possible for Frenship ISD to serve free breakfast and lunch to students during the pandemic have expired. As a result, Frenship must go back to charging for school meals and offering the free and reduced-priced meals. CLICK HERE to see meal pricing
 
EXCEPTION: Legacy Elementary, Westwind Elementary, and Willow Bend Elementary qualify for a federal program called Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), and all students at these three campuses will continue receiving free breakfast and lunch meals, regardless of financial condition. No action is needed to receive the free meals at these campuses.
 
Texas Sales Tax Holiday
August 5 - 7, 2022
The Comptroller encourages all taxpayers to support Texas businesses while saving money on tax-free purchases of most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks (sold for less than $100) during the annual Tax-Free weekend.

Meet your child's driver and get bus information. Food trucks and local vendors, games and jump house, and school supply giveaway!

Behind the Womble Basketball Center, 1540 Indiana Avenue 
Students will receive a backpack full of school supplies from Texas Tech University and Lubbock community partners, while supplies last.

Parents/guardians are REQUIRED to complete this two-step process:

 

STEP #1:
Parents/Guardians must complete Online Verification through Skyward Family Access. Online Verification is NOW open and available for parents/guardians to complete. 
  • Returning student instructions are listed HERE
  • New Student instructions are listed HERE.
  • (Please note: If your student has ever attended a Frenship ISD school, they are considered a RETURNING STUDENT. If they have never attended a Frenship ISD school, they are considered a NEW STUDENT.)
 
STEP #2
Parents/Guardians are REQUIRED to attend in-person registration to provide hard-copies of the required documents listed online through Skyward Family access and MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF RESIDENCY to complete the registration process. 
 
Required documents for in-person registration:
 
    • Proof of Residency – You MUST provide proof of residency. (Includes any of the following documents: current lease, water bill, gas bill, or electric bill. The document MUST be current within the last 30 days and it MUST show the service address. Note: the service address may not be on the front page of the bill/statement.)
    • Immunization Records (A record from your healthcare provider must have their signature or stamp)
    • Birth Certificate (Hospital certificate of birth will not be accepted)
    • Social Security Card
    • Parent/Guardian’s Driver’s License
