About Officer Mosher

“I didn’t know what to expect when taking on the role as a School Police Officer. It only took a short time to realize this was the job that I was called to do. As a school Police Officer, I make keeping our schools safe my number one priority. My favorite role as a School Officer is the role of building positive relationships with students and being the person, they can talk to and hopefully look up to.”

     - Officer Richard Mosher

Richard Mosher started his Law Enforcement career with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office in 1990. While at the Sheriff’s Office Richard served as a jail Lieutenant, civil division deputy and patrol division deputy. Richard was also a team leader with the SWAT team.

In 2005 Richard left the Sheriff’s Department to pursue his passion for teaching law enforcement students at the SPAG Regional Police Academy.

Richard joined the Frenship Police Department 2009 where he serves as a patrol officer and the Department training officer.  Richard is assigned to Reese Education Center and Willow Bend Elementary.
