Frenship ISD student, Matthew Noel, is known for his success in spelling, having been to the National Spelling Bee multiple times. However, Noel doesn't just spell well, he sells well too. 

As the Lubbock Lemonade Day Entrepreneur of the Year 2017, Matthew was chosen to represent Lubbock in the National Youth Entrepreneur of the Year competition and was up against nominees from cities across the United States and Canada.

Lemonade Day is a community-wide initiative that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their very own business – a lemonade stand.

In his six years participating in Lemonade Day, Matthew has raised over $20,000 for charity!
