Frenship Football Takes Down Odessa High

In a high-scoring game between the Frenship Tigers and the Odessa High Bronchos, the Bronchos fired first, going up 7-0 early in the first quarter. The Frenship offense responded quickly - scoring a touchdown of their own soon after. While the Bronchos blocked an extra point attempt, the Tigers were still able to get up 27-14 at the end of the first quarter.

Through the second quarter, the Bronchos were able to come back, scoring 21 unanswered points to make it 35-27 at the half.

In true shootout fashion, the score was all tied up at 42-42 as the teams started the fourth quarter, but as Hudson Hutcheson was being tackled, he managed to throw a pass to Brooks Roberson, who made the catch in the end zone while surrounded by Broncos defenders.  That electric touchdown would end up being the final score of the game, putting the Tigers on top at 49-42.

The Tigers will host the San Angelo Central Bobcats at Peoples Bank Stadium on November 4 for a chance at their share of the 2022 District 2 6A Championship.
