The Tigers shot a 342 during the two-day Andrews Fall Invitational on November 3rd and 4th. The Tigers placed 5th on day one and 4th on day two.

“The second day saw improvement as the Tigers tied for 4th place out of 14 teams in the tournament shooting a round of 336 for a 678 two-day total,” said Head Golf Coach Andy Correll.

The Tigers were led by Zach Ware and Pace Parker, both shooting 167 for the two days. Kyson Plott had the next-best score for the Tigers at 169, followed by Jetson Hobbs at 176 and Jackson Bonnett at 178.

Next, the Varsity Gold Team will compete in the Gobbler Classic Invitational at Ratliff Ranch Golf Course on November 16, 2023.

On Monday, November 6, the Boys Golf White team competed in the 6-Man Lowball tournament held by Lubbock ISD at the Hillcrest Country Club.

The Tigers shot a 239 which put them in 5th place out of 11 teams. The Team was led by Brayden Tomlinson and Nic Hernandez with a 78. Next was John Whitfield and John Anguino at 80, followed by Carson Beardemphl and Jaxson Bailey at 81.

“This was a great tournament to be a part of in that it has a unique format where players get to team up with another player for the lowest score on each hole. There is a lot of strategy and team unity in this type of format, and these Tigers did well,” said Coach Correll.

Great job, Tigers! Keep up the hard work!
