The Frenship High School Boys Blue Golf Team showed up ready to compete this week. The Tigers came in second place in the District 2 6-A Championship with an overall score of 613.  

Individually, Hunter Welch came in 2nd place, Jackson May came in 4th place, both earning a spot at Regionals, and Lane Monroe came in 7th place.  

Head Boys Golf Coach, Andrew Correll, is happy with how the Tigers represented Frenship at the competition.  

“I am really proud of both teams. The Blue team overcame a 3-stroke deficit to qualify. The Gold team played great as well, beating all 2nd teams from the District. Jackson May played outstanding to earn his Regional spot. I am super proud of them all,” said Coach Correll.  

The Regional 1-6A Championship will be held on April 15-16 at Tangle Ridge Golf Course in Grand Prairie.
