Frenship ISD is excited to welcome Kimber Rodgers as the first Head Athletic Trainer for Frenship Memorial High School. Rodgers brings with her 16 years of experience in education, all of which have been dedicated to serving the students and athletes of Frenship ISD.
Originally from the Austin area, Rodgers moved to Lubbock to pursue her graduate studies at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. During her final year of school, she stepped into a vital role at Frenship High School as a contract athletic trainer after the previous trainer departed mid-year. Upon completing her master's degree, Rodgers was officially hired full-time and has remained an integral part of the Frenship Family ever since.
Rodgers’ move to Frenship Memorial High School marks a new and exciting chapter in her career. She says the opportunity to help launch a brand-new program and build something from the ground up was a major factor in her decision.
“I decided to join the Frenship Memorial team because I was excited for the opportunity to begin a program from the ground up,” said Rodgers. “I am excited to build new relationships with the staff and students attending Frenship Memorial and for the challenge of building a program.”
Rodgers shared that one of her favorite aspects of working at Frenship is the district-wide feeling of support and community.
“Frenship actually does feel like a family,” said Rodgers. “We get to work with such supportive teachers, administrators, and families, and that makes a big difference.”
With her wealth of experience, deep roots in the district, and passion for student success, Frenship ISD is confident that Rodgers will be a leader in shaping the athletic programs at Frenship Memorial High School.
Welcome to Frenship Memorial, Kimber Rodgers!
