This marked Dr. James St. Clair’s 13th year to hold the Live Thankfully event where his practice coordinates partnerships with generous sponsors to provide holiday meals for families facing food insecurity. On November 20, St. Clair Orthodontics and their sponsors delivered more than 800 Thanksgiving meals across Lubbock with each meal feeding a family of four.
“Our goal is to feed as many people as possible that we can find in need this holiday season,” said Dr. St. Clair. “We’re just trying to meet needs, and we’re so blessed to live in a community that supports each other.”
At Frenship, St. Clair Orthodontics worked closely with Westwind’s Communities in Schools, CIS, site coordinator to identify 23 families who would benefit the most from the generous donation.
“We are so grateful for St. Clair and our community who supported this event,” said Ma’at Blackwell, Westwind’s CIS site coordinator. “This means so much to our families and students. Not only is it a warm meal that they can enjoy, but it also shows our families that the community cares about them and wants to help them.”
