With 15 years of experience in education and a heart for serving students, Lauren Winston joins Legacy Elementary with a passion for building meaningful relationships, supporting school communities, and helping every child reach their full potential. 

As she begins her 16th year in education, Winston brings a diverse background to campus leadership, having served as a general education teacher, special education teacher, and behavior support specialist.  

“Each role has strengthened my belief that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and capable of success,” said Winston. “Joining Frenship is an exciting opportunity to continue serving students and families in a district known for its commitment to excellence, meaningful relationships, and a strong sense of community.” 

Winston said Frenship's focus on students and strong community values made the district an easy choice. 

“I was drawn to Frenship because of its student-centered culture and the genuine commitment to supporting students, staff, and families,” said Winston. “I believe in leading with a servant's heart, building meaningful relationships, and creating the conditions where every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Frenship's values align closely with my own, making it a place where I am honored to serve.” 

As the new school year approaches, Winston is looking forward to connecting with the Legacy Elementary community and building relationships that will support student success. 

“I am most excited about getting to know the students, staff, and families of Legacy Elementary and building relationships that foster a positive, supportive school culture,” said Winston. “I look forward to celebrating successes, supporting growth, and partnering with our school community to ensure every student feels welcomed, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential.” 

As she joins the Legacy Elementary family, Winston said she is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Frenship community. 

“I feel truly blessed to be part of the Frenship family, and I look forward to getting to know the amazing students, staff, and families of Legacy Elementary,” said Winston. “I'm excited for all we'll accomplish together this school year!”
