A new Frenship tradition has a name. For the first time ever, the Frenship Tigers and Memorial Panthers will meet on the football field, and the students of the Big Cat Council have officially named the game the Big Cat Classic.

The Big Cat Council brought together student leaders from Frenship High School and Memorial High School to help shape how Tigers and Panthers support one another and represent Frenship as the district continues to grow.

The students played an important role in establishing the name for this historic matchup and helping create a tradition that can continue for years to come.

Thank you to the Big Cat Council for being willing to lead, represent your schools, and help establish traditions that bring the Frenship community together. You have helped create a piece of Frenship history: the Big Cat Classic.

The inaugural Big Cat Classic will take place Friday, October 16, at 7 p.m. at Peoples Bank Stadium. The Frenship Tigers will be the home team, while the Memorial Panthers will be the visiting team.

Tickets will go on sale Monday, October 12, through the Frenship ISD athletics ticketing page. Memorial reserved season tickets will not be valid for this game. Purchase Football Tickets Here
