Event guests enjoyed the ambience of Hilltop Venue at Bland farms, complete with live music from Texas Country favorite Josh Weathers and Arle Rossnagel, delicious food from Evie Mae’s BBQ, specialty fall-inspired cocktails from Preslea Thompson Bartending, and deserts prepared by Frenship High School Advanced Culinary students.

In addition, guests received a gift basket with a homemade s’more baked with love by Memorial High School Advanced Culinary students and enjoyed the beautiful floral décor created by Frenship High School Floral Design students.

The event’s live auction featured one-of-a-kind experiences and packages, including a custom-built smoker handcrafted by Frenship High School agriculture students.

“One of the best parts of An Evening in Big Cat Country is seeing our students play such an important role in the event,” said Tiffany Taylor, Executive Director of the Frenship Foundation for Leadership. “From featuring our culinary student's desserts to our agricultural students showcasing their talents, it’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to see firsthand the incredible things happening in Frenship classrooms.”

More than just a night of entertainment, An Evening in Big Cat Country supports the Foundation’s mission of investing in education through Character Scholarships for graduating seniors and innovative Teacher Grants that enhance learning opportunities in classrooms throughout the district.

The Frenship Foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation to the sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community members whose generosity helps create lasting opportunities for Frenship students and staff.

“The success of this event is truly a reflection of the generosity and support of our Frenship community,” Taylor said. “We are incredibly grateful for the businesses, sponsors, donors, and volunteers who continue to believe in our mission and invest in our students and teachers. Their support makes events like this possible and allows the Foundation to continue making a meaningful difference across Frenship ISD.”
