The Casey Administration staff went above and beyond decorating each individual department as a different experience for elementary school Special Education students. The students from across the district spent the day walking through each hallway enjoying treats.

Students participated in a special pumpkin themed lesson this week at Oak Ridge. The students examined the parts of a pumpkin, learned new vocabulary, made predictions, and saw the experiment come to life.

In honor of Halloween, first-graders at North Ridge gathered the most eerie-sistable ingredients for a Witch’s Brew activity. The educational lesson helped students better understand writing and literature concepts.

Orchestra students from five Frenship campuses immersed themselves into the invigorating music of Mozart and Stravinsky as they attended the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra.

The Frenship Tigers brought their A-Game to last Friday’s match-up against the Odessa High Bronchos. The final score was 77-49 for a terrific Tiger victory.

This month, Terra Vista Middle School seventh-grade students learned about the Day of the Dead through the creation of Marigolds and painting skulls.

This past weekend the Tigers traveled to Hobbs, New Mexico, competing in the South Plains Shootout at Rockwind Community Links. Even though the team faced harsh weather, the Tigers managed to bring home top awards.

The Frenship Tiger Volleyball Team wrapped up the season at the Playoff game against El Paso Eastwood this week. Although the season is over, Head Coach Amy Mangum is proud of the growth developed throughout the team this season.

On October 26, nearly 1,000 Frenship second grade students at all eight Frenship elementary schools participated in the sixth annual United We Read, an event aimed at promoting literacy and a love of reading at a young age.

The Frenship Tiger Volleyball Team walked away with a shiny new trophy at the District Championship match this past Tuesday. Now, the Tigers will advance to the Playoffs next week.
