This week, several campuses across Frenship hosted events to honor those in our community who have served in the military. Veterans were recognized for their selfless dedication and service for our country.

Last week, several pieces of art from Frenship High School art students were showcased at the November First Friday Art Trail.

Three Frenship High School students will be advancing to the UIL State Congress Competition after a successful performance at the District Competition last week.

The Tiger Girls Basketball team started their season fast and furious last weekend at the Argyle Tip Off Classic. The Tigers beat both #3 Winnsboro and #23 Garland Sachse.

Last Friday, the Tigers traveled to San Angelo and beat the Bobcats 41-34. The team is traveling to El Paso today to face El Paso Eastwood in the Bi-District Playoffs.

This past Monday, Frenship ISD and Lubbock-Cooper ISD hosted their annual joint Academic UIL meet with over 600 students competing from both districts.

This week, Frenship High School hosted a Tractor Technician Career Development Event (CDE) invitational for FFA teams from across the state.

The chess club at Alcove Trails Middle School triumphed at the Texas Tech University Check with Tech Chess Invitational and earned the honor of putting the very first trophy in the brand-new school’s trophy case.

This past weekend the Varsity Boys Gold Golf team traveled to Andrews for the Fall Invitational. The Tigers placed 5th, just 30 strokes behind the host Andrews Black team. The boys will wrap up their fall season on November 16 in the Gobbler Classic.

A total of 13 Tigers signed to play at the collegiate level after graduation. Congratulations, students!
