Esports is a form of competition also known as electronic sports utilizing video games. It is organized game play between teams and has a strict set of rules and guidelines. ESports focuses on teamwork, communication, strategic thinking, and leadership.

Frenship ISD currently has 30 athletes competing in league competition. The program is overseen by the District's Chief Technology Officer with the campus principal and coaches at Frenship High School
