On August 12, 2023, the Frenship Foundation for Leadership held a 20 Year Anniversary event to celebrate two decades of giving back to Frenship students and staff.
Uploaded Jun 05, 2024Since 2011, United Supermarkets has hosted a School Supply Drive to help raise funds for Lubbock area students to receive school supplies. To kick off the Drive Dr. McCord along with six other local school districts had the opportunity to shop for school supplies with a $150 United Supermarkets gift card. The supplies gathered will be donated to students.
Uploaded Jun 05, 2024Frenship students in the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Board and Willow Bend Elementary Student Council teamed up with the Rotary Club of Lubbock and several community partners to help fight food insecurity this holiday season.
As part of the Frenship Tiger Bites food program, the students, volunteers, and donors filled more than 500 backpacks with food that will go home with Frenship students identified as needing a helping hand when school is closed for winter break.
Frenship ISD is proud to announce Terra Vista Middle School Head Band Director Roel Sanchez has been selected as a 2024 Lubbock Area Distinguished Educator and finalist for the Lubbock Christian University Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Fifteen Frenship educators, one from each Frenship ISD school, were nominated by their campus for the honor. Through the selection process, Sanchez was chosen to represent the district as Frenship ISD’s overall nominee for the LCU Distinguished Educator.
The Casey Administration staff went above and beyond decorating each individual department as a different experience for elementary school Special Education students. The students from across the district spent the day walking through each hallway enjoying treats.
The spook-tacular trick-or-treat tradition started many years ago at the Casey Administration Building. It is something that both students and staff look forward to each year.
This year about 150 students in Special Education, Life Skills, and FOCUS participated in the event. Although their bags started bone-dry, each student left with a plentiful amount of treats and goodies from each department.
This year decoration themes ranged from Construction Zone, Under the Sea, Mad Scientists, Glow Party, Candy Shop, Super Mario, Star Wars, and many more!
On Wednesday, September 27, 2023 Frenship ISD administrators, students, staff, and community members joined together for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of our newest campus, Alcove Trails Middle School.
Construction on the 160,000-square-foot campus began in November of 2021, and last fall, the Frenship community, staff, students, and parents helped name the new school. After more than a year and half of construction, Frenship's fourth middle school, Alcove Trails, opened its doors in August of 2023 and welcomed more than 400 students and 50 staff members. Alcove Trails is one of three new schools that was approved by voters in the Frenship ISD 2020 Bond.
