Frenship Elementary Students Become Authors

Students in Heather Walker’s second grade class at Upland Heights and in Lorrie Crain’s Virtual Learning Pre-Kindergarten class at Westwind have become published authors this year.

Frenship Students Learn About Digital Citizenship

Digital Citizenship is a concept that teaches our students how to use technology appropriately; similar to teaching kids to be good citizens. This month, students across the District, are learning about Relationships and Communication.

Frenship Bowler Advances to State Competition

Frenship Bowler Kaylee McCleery competed at the State Bowling Competition last weekend. This was Frenship Bowling's inaugural season, and McCleery left her mark on school history by being the first Frenship bowler to compete at the State level.

Frenship Wrestlers Advance to Region 1 Tournament

Last weekend Frenship Wrestling competed in the 2-6A District Wrestling Tournament in Weatherford. The Varsity Boys team had three athletes that placed and qualified for the Region 1 Tournament, and the Varsity Girls team placed fourth overall, advancing all athletes to the Region 1 Tournament.

Frenship Elementary Libraries Host March Madness: A Tournament of Books

Each Frenship elementary school library hosted March Madness: A Tournament of Books. This book tournament was held at the same time as the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. This encouraged students from Pre-Kindergarten all the way to fifth grade to read a book, or listen to a book being read, and vote for their favorite one.
