Several Frenship Memorial High School and Frenship High School SkillsUSA teams competed in their respective district career-driven competitions on February 14, where they secured spots at the state competition in April.

The Frenship ISD Communications Department had a successful showing at the annual Texas School Public Relations Association conference in Galveston this week. The team brought home 23 state awards, including a Crystal Commendation Finalist Award, three Best of Category Awards, 15 gold Star Awards, and four silver Star Awards.

After gathering input from our Frenship parents, staff, and community members on calendar drafts, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees has approved the 2026-2027 District Calendar.

The Heritage Middle School Varsity Treble Choir was selected to perform as an Invited Choir at the 2026 Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Convention in San Antonio, one of the most prestigious recognitions a school ensemble can earn in the state of Texas.

Frenship Memorial High School & Frenship High School Pom squads competed in the Crowd Pleasers Spirit Competition and came home with over 40 awards and accolades.

Campuses across Frenship ISD are participating in Paws for a Cause, a district-wide initiative focused on strengthening connections, encouraging empathy, and giving students meaningful opportunities to serve others. From elementary classrooms to high school organizations, the week was filled with intentional acts of kindness that brought the Frenship Way to life.

On February 13, participants from each Frenship elementary and middle school campus competed in the district-wide spelling bee competition.

At the recent UIL Regional Solo and Ensemble Competition, 31 Frenship High School students received Superior ratings on their solos, and four ensembles earned Superior ratings, advancing to the State contest. Memorial High School had 16 students receive Superior ratings on Grade 1 solos, securing their spots at state.
