Attendance

At Frenship ISD, we value strong attendance because students who miss class miss important instruction that supports their success.  We encourage students to attend regularly, but we understand that absences sometimes happen. Below you'll find an informational flyer, frequently asked questions such as how to report an absence, and contact information for your child's attendance clerk.

Absences can be reported by emailing the attendance clerk at the student's school:
  • Go to the "Contact your campus attendance clerks" section below and:
    • Choose appropriate campus and clerk.
    • Email clerk with absence information and include note.
    • Email or send a note within 3 days of absence.
  • Parents can also call the attendance clerk at their student’s campus to report an absence; however, the absence is not excused without proper documentation.
  • If the parent is unable to reach someone, the parent can email the attendance clerk or leave a message that includes the student's ID number or date of birth.

Parents can submit attendance notes (doctor and parent notes) electronically to your student’s campus and attendance clerk.   Medical notes may be submitted by attaching a photo of the note to the email. Be sure to include your students’ name, grade and ID# in the email.

Your support with your child’s attendance in school is critical to their success. Thank you for helping us prioritize learning through consistent attendance!
