This past weekend, Frenship High School HOSA - Future Health Professionals students competed at the Area HOSA Competition held in El Paso, earning top placements and advancing seven students to the state competition next month in Corpus Christi.

Frenship ISD’s CTE Mentoring Program is shaping future leaders by giving high school students hands-on, real-world experience while serving younger students across the district. Through meaningful relationships and work-based learning, mentors develop essential career skills while making a lasting impact in Frenship schools.

The 2026 Frenship Foundation Character Scholarship is now open, and Frenship High School graduate Kianah Aldaco is encouraging seniors to apply and share their story. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate strong character, leadership, and service to others.

Today, Frenship High School honored seven student-athletes on National NCAA Signing Day. These Tigers will go on to play at the collegiate level after graduation.

Frenship ISD Academic Decathlon students delivered standout performances at the Regional Academic Decathlon competition, earning team honors, individual medals, and a historic state qualification.

Frenship ISD Business Professionals of America students are headed to the state stage after earning top finishes at the Regional Leadership Conference. A total of 51 students from Frenship High School and Frenship Memorial High School have qualified to compete at the BPA State Leadership Conference in Dallas this March.

Frenship High School DECA students dominated at the district competition, with every competitor earning a spot at the state level. Their success highlights the dedication, talent, and hard work these students bring to the program.

This month’s Mental Health Minute focuses on optimism. As part of the Frenship ISD Strategic Plan Initiative, the Mental Health Minute seeks to promote awareness of mental health and wellness across the district.

Frenship ISD is seeking feedback on two draft academic calendars for the 2026–2027 school year. Families are encouraged to review the drafts, explore the comparison chart, and complete the survey by January 29 at noon.

This week, Frenship ISD partnered with the Rotary Club of Lubbock for the annual Winter Food Backpack program where more than 600 backpacks were filled with food to help feed Frenship families during the holiday break.
