Visiting a School Campus

Parents and others are welcome to visit district schools. For the safety of those within the school and to avoid disruption of instructional time, all visitors must first report to the main office and must comply with all applicable district policies and procedures.

In each office and foyer area, an intercom system and video monitors have been installed.  The foyer door leading the main office will now be locked starting at 8:20 am and all visitors during the school day wil need to be admitted by office staff.  All other doors will remain locked during the school day.
Visitors must have their Driver’s License scanned upon entering the office. (RAPTOR Info)  Some campuses will retain the Driver's License during the campus visit and return it before the person leaves the campus.  Visitors are expected to check out through the main office when exiting the building.

Visits to individual classrooms during instructional time are permitted only with approval of the principal and teacher and only so long as their duration or frequency does not interfere with the delivery of instruction or disrupt the normal school environment.  If a conference with a teacher is necessary, contact the front office of your child's campus to make arrangments for a day and time to meet.

All visitors are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of courtesy and conduct; disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Frenship I.S.D. welcomes parents and visitors alike to stop and visit our campuses, meet the staff and participate in campus activities. We gladly offer this courtesy and, in return, we ask that all visitors be courteous to other visitors.

We ask that all persons be safe and courteous drivers while on FISD property and on the surrounding streets.
