Frenship ISD Advanced Academics

In addition to on-level classes, Frenship ISD offers advanced courses in many core content (math, ELAR, science, and social studies) and elective areas.  These advanced courses are part of our Advanced Academics program at Frenship and are offered to students in 6th-12th grades.

Although Frenship offers several different types of Advanced Academics courses, increased rigor and depth in student learning, as well as accelerated pacing are general traits common to all of these courses.  More information about the descriptions of the Advanced Academics courses can be found in the document linked below.

Advanced Academics courses do offer weighted credit when calculating GPA if taken in 9th -12th grades.

For more information, contact Nicholas Copeland, District Coordinator of Advanced Academics/Gifted & Talented.
